Service policy

Honest results. Realistic expectations.

Every vehicle arrives with its own history. We treat each one carefully, explain what we see, and focus on the best safe result the vehicle can reasonably achieve.

01

Every vehicle has a limit.

Detailing can make a major difference, but it cannot reverse every effect of age, wear, previous damage or low-grade materials. Faded plastics, thin or peeling paint, cracked leather, worn fabric, set-in staining, damaged trim and heavily scratched surfaces may improve without returning to a like-new appearance.

02

The goal is improvement, not a guaranteed perfect finish.

We use professional products, techniques and reasonable care to get the best result possible. Some marks, odours, stains, pet hair, scratches and imperfections may remain after service. A detail is not a restoration, repaint, upholstery replacement or repair service unless we have specifically agreed to that work.

03

We will protect the vehicle before chasing an impossible result.

If a treatment could risk damage to delicate, brittle, worn or previously repaired materials, we may adjust the process, limit the treatment or decline that portion of the work. We will use our professional judgement to avoid causing unnecessary harm while still delivering the strongest safe result.

04

Existing condition matters.

Customers are responsible for pointing out known concerns before work begins, including paint defects, leaks, loose trim, electrical issues, aftermarket parts, prior repairs and areas that should not be treated. We may document existing damage or vehicle condition before starting.

05

Water inside the vehicle needs a separate fix.

Water under the carpet, in the floor, trunk or spare-tire well can indicate an active leak, blocked drain, damaged seal, body issue or previous water exposure. We can clean, extract and dry accessible areas as part of detailing, but we do not diagnose, repair or guarantee against water intrusion unless that work has been specifically agreed to. If the source remains, moisture, odour, staining or mould can return.

06

Excess garbage may require an additional fee.

Our quoted detail prices assume the vehicle is reasonably cleared out before it arrives. If there is an unusual amount of garbage, loose belongings, food waste or other material that needs to be removed before cleaning can begin, an additional clean-out fee may apply. We will explain the added cost and receive your approval before completing that work.

07

Personal items stay personal.

We do not open, sort through or clean inside gloveboxes that contain personal belongings. Please empty the glovebox before your appointment if you would like that area cleaned. The same approach may be used for other closed storage compartments containing personal items.

08

We confirm the plan before we start.

Quotes based on photos or messages are estimates until we see the vehicle in person. If the vehicle’s condition changes the time, materials or scope required, we will explain the options and confirm the plan with you before doing additional work.

Our commitment

We will be straight with you about what your car can achieve.

By booking with Precision Detailing, you acknowledge that results depend on the vehicle’s age, materials and condition, and that some imperfections may remain after service.
